Yep, we're moving again. You'd almost think we enjoy moving as often as we have moved. Although, we were in Ft. Collins for 5 years and moved reluctantly this last time. This time is very exciting because after all these years of having our Texas house on and off the market it has finally sold! We had been talking to various realtors and investors and, by God's grace and providence, stumbled onto a man who "has a client looking for a house just like ours!" When they came to look at it I was sure that once they saw the small backyard, the utility bills for this large of a house and the lack of fancy, schmancy upgrades they'd be gone but, amazingly, they stayed. They even came back for more visits and asked how soon we could be out so they could move in! We raced to Colorado on one of the only breaks Mike had from traveling each week to find a house. In the 11th hour of our trip ... literally as it was at 11 a.m. right before we had to leave for the airport, we found a house in the neighborhood we like, that was big enough for all of us and was in our price range ... it had been off the market when we arrived 2 days earlier but miraculously the contract fell through and as we drove by we saw the sign in the yard. Amazing! So, all that to say, here we go again. We are sad to leave our precious Texas friends. They are gems. We are also sad to leave our Texas church which is one-in-a-million. The kids are sad to leave their new found friends as well. But, we are happy because this has all been so Providential. We are happy because we will be home, near family, in time to see Josiah go to Prom and graduate, in a small town and near the mountains. Praise the Lord!
*A note about the picture: That's how I feel about moving. It's slow-going, tedious, filthy, stressful and filled with the unexpected but it takes you to a better place with a bright future!
